Planetary Health breaks epistemological silos of Western knowledge going behind the biomedical approach to health. Indigenous knowledge, traditionally anchored in a circular vision of harmony with the environment, is invited to contribute in re-framing our understanding of the relationship with the planet’s vital systems. This webinar offers an open and deep dialogue between our special guest from Andean region, Which wisdom can local communities teach to global health scholars? How can the planetary health field integrate traditional knowledge? Is there a risk of extracting knowledge in a new colonial practice? Can a fruitful collaboration be possible?
