Sharing Humanity & Inclusion findings on drivers and barriers to immunization information and services among persons with disabilities in Somalia.
“We need to plan how we can make vaccination accessible for everyone: this disease can return any moment” (Nurse, female, 53 yo).
Humanity & Inclusion shares the findings of a quantitative and qualitative research about behavioral and social drivers of COVID-19 vaccination among persons with disabilities in camps in Somalia using the BeSD assessment tool by WHO. In addition to offer an insight on marginalized populations’ access to health information and services, panelists from health institutions and local and global civil society will discuss practical scalable recommendations to promote health equity leaving no one behind.
