In light of this year’s International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, ITM alumna and junior researcher Engy Sawah will share her experiences of working in Egypt with migrants and refugee victims of sexual violence from conflict settings.

In this webinar, Engy will focus her presentation on the background and context of sexual violence in Egypt, in particular, among migrants and refugee victims of sexual violence from conflict zones. She will talk about her experience with interventions and service delivery to victims of sexual violence and present an integrated and comprehensive model of care used to address this issue in a holistic way. She will also share challenges and lessons learnt related to interventions and service delivery.

The Q&A session will be moderated by Thérèse Delvaux, a scientific expert and senior researcher at the Reproductive and Maternal Health Unit, at the ITM Department of Public Health.
