Michiel Van Der Heyden works for the Belgian Federal Public Service Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment. He is responsible for coordinating and defending Belgium’s point of view in meetings of the World Health Organization (WHO), including in the intergovernmental negotiating body where the negotiations on the pandemic treaty take place.
