Jorge Matine serves as Country Director of Ipas Mozambique. Jorge has a wealth of experience in the fields of public policy research and sexual and reproductive health. He served as the Sexual and Reproductive Health Director at Pathfinder International, Mozambique, with a specific focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights, including safe abortion. He also previously worked with the Centre for Public Integrity (CIP), a watchdog and anti-corruption organization in Mozambique as researcher and coordinator of the public revenue and expenditure pillar. Mr. Matine also served as a UN technical advisor for adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health programs in the Ministry Health and Education in Mozambique. He has a university degree in Medicine and in Social Work for Health Care.
