Itamar Rodriguez is a Doctor of Medicine from the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil and Master in Public Health and Preventive Medicine from the University of Granada and Master in Administration and Hospital Management from the University of the Armed Forces of Ecuador. He is also an Alumni of Harvard University on issues of social protection and early childhood. Itamar Rodriguez is the former Deputy Minister of Health of Ecuador, University Professor and he has held several senior management positions in the Social Security System of Ecuador, and in the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador as an expert in Health Systems and Service Delivery of Health.
