Hans De Greve has been working for VVOB in Suriname as an Education Advisor TVET since November 2015. Over the years he has implemented development programmes on a range of theme’s relevant for Suriname’s lower secondary vocational education system. These include collaboration between the world of work and the education sector, induction of novice teachers into the education system and the professional development of vocational school leaders. Recently, a lot of his time and effort has gone into formulating and contributing to the implementation of the EU-funded iGROW project on safe and supportive school environments related to sexual and reproductive health and rights and school related gender-based violence. Previously Hans was employed at Plan International Belgium where he worked on the promotion of children’s’ rights in development cooperation, especially on issues related to education, gender, sexual reproductive health and rights and violence against children.
