Didier Chuy Kalombola is a MD and has a Master in Public Health (Health Policy and Health Systems Management, ITM, Antwerp). He is a Senior Researcher and Medical Director at the Tshamilemba Learning and Research Health Centre (CSART), and a researcher and doctoral fellow at the School of Public Health from the University of Lubumbashi in DRC.

Areas of interest: piloting support, capacity development, functionality, standards, performance, piloting, quality, regulation, strengthening and stewardship of health systems (policies, programs); health district and primary health care concept; crime, equity and safety of care; decentralization, leadership and governance in health; urban health; quantitative, qualitative and mixed research in international health.
