Beverly Longid is the Global Coordinator of the International Indigenous Peoples Movement for Self-Determination and Liberation (IPMSDL), Co-Chair of the CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness and International Officer of KATRIBU – Katribu Kalipunan ng Katutubong Mamamayan ng Pilipinas, a national alliance of Indigenous Peoples and organisations in the Philippines. She is also a former Chairperson of the Cordillera Peoples’ Alliance and now serves as an Advisory Council Member. She is an Igorot activist from the Bontoc-Kankanaey of Cordillera and has been actively involved in local, national and international work on human rights and defense of land and environment for many years now.
