Aline Labat is a physiotherapist and holds a Master’s degree in public health. She has been working at the ESP-ULB for more than 10 years as a teacher and researcher in the field of health systems strengthening and more particularly in the strengthening of human resources for health in Africa. She is mainly interested in the quality of and access to health care, especially for specific groups such as young people and people with disabilities. She has coordinated various institutional support and scientific monitoring projects in Burundi, Niger, Senegal, Rwanda… She was in charge of the scientific support provided to MEMISA in the framework of its action research in mental health in Burundi.
