Dr Aduragbemi Banke-Thomas is a medical doctor with post-graduate research training in health policy and international public health. He has experience working in public and private sectors, academia and consultancy across sub-Saharan Africa. Aduragbemi is passionate about improving health outcomes for pregnant mothers and their babies in low- and middle-income countries as well as those who have been displaced from their homes. Presently, as Assistant Professorial Research Fellow and AXA Research Fund Grantee at the London School of Economics and Political Science, his research is focused on understanding issues of access to critical maternal health care in Nigeria.
