First, Ariadna Nebot Giralt will present her ongoing work on “Sociology of the global pharmacist: what role of the pharmacist in international development?”. The presentation will be followed by a debate on the role of pharmacists, and pharmacy, in the global scenario and in our own projects, and on how we can (jointly) strengthen it.
Then, Magalie Schotte will briefly introduce the ongoing reflections in Because Health on “Decolonization of global health” and help us to reflect on whether/how such power dynamics impact on (global) pharmacy, access to medicines etc.
