Celebrating International Day of Women and Girls in Science, this ITM alumni webinar puts in the spotlight the career path in research, science and academics of ITM PhD alumna Ibukun Abejirinde. Ibukun Abejirinde is trained as a medical doctor and completed her PhD in Global Heath (Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium, the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands and the University of Barcelona, Spain as an Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate Fellow).

She currently works as a Scientist at the Institute for Better Health, Trillium Health Partners in Ontario, Canada. She is also an Assistant Professor (status) at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, Canada. In this webinar, Ibukun will reflect on her academic pursuits, studies, and career trajectory in research, science and academia.
